Waitaruke

The Sound of the Dove was heard in the Far North recently when the Dove National Team visited Waitaruke parish, north of Kaeo, as part of their 25 years celebrations, to hold a retreat day for women of surrounding parishes. It was a day of praise and worship and quiet reflection in the presence of the Lord in the monstrance.

As one of the women who lives on site said, "I was not going to attend but felt drawn into the room and what a prayer filled experience. Thank you Dove for coming."

Women attended from Ruawai, Whangarei, Paihia, Kerikeri, Kawakawa and Mangonui. The fellowship around the food table was truly amazing as women exchanged testimonies of how the Lord was working in their daily lives.

We pray that this outreach opens doors for the Holy Spirit to become truly alive in the North - that this is only the beginning!
